Being established in 1995 by Dhaka Ahsania Mission, Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST) started it’s journey as the first private engineering university of Bangladesh. Since then, Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST) has come a long way in the last 30 years by playing a pioneering role in the field of engineering education in Bangladesh.
As an engineering university AUST started it’s journey with several disciplines of engineering and architecture, but later expanded it’s activities in some other areas including business faculty. Couple of years back AUST was shifted from their old campus at Kawranbazar to their newly built modern eye-catching permanent campus at Tejgaon, Dhaka.
Since several years, every year desk calendar of AUST has been released and each year has been based on a different theme. The responsible designated people of their university decide their focus in the way they think best based on mutual discussions among themselves.
This year, they have chosen some entrepreneurs in the engineering sector of Bangladesh as the theme of their desk calendar of 2025. Engr. Anwar Pervez Shefin, Chairman, Powerbreeze Group has been selected as one of those few entrepreneurs of engineering sector in Bangladesh.
AUST authority has designed the 12 months’ pages of the 2025 desk calendar focusing on 12 entrepreneurs where the first page i.e. the page of January has been introduced with the founder of Dhaka Ahsania Mission, Mr. Khan Bahadur Ahsanullah, a renowned educationist of Bangladesh as well as of Indian sub-continent, a founding architect of many educational institutions in many places along with Dhaka, Kolkata, Chottogram and Cumilla.
The entrepreneurial credential of Engr. Anwar Pervez Shefin, Chairman, Powerbreeze Group has been placed on the page of July in 2025 desk calendar of AUST.
Some other distinguished entrepreneurial personalities have been focused in other ten pages like Engr. Rabiul Alam (CIP), Chairman, Energypac Power Generation Limited, Mr. Mohammed Jabbar (UT Dallas CSE Graduate), Managing Director, DBL Group, Mr. S M Nazrul Islam, Founding Chairman of Walton Hitech Industries.
